About Bold Heron Copper

At Bold Heron Copper, every piece of jewelry begins with what others have forgotten. It's not just about sustainability — it's about rediscovery, reclaiming value from what’s been left behind, and telling a story through copper.

Our Story

Our copper comes from places with history — old dairy farms, forgotten workshops — where pipes and wiring once served another purpose. We cut and clean these timeworn materials by hand, flattening them into plates and revealing the raw metal beneath years of use.

There’s something deeply satisfying about working with what others discard. Thick cables, thin wires, rusted pipes — each holds potential. Once transformed, they become the foundation for rings, earrings, pendants, and more.

Our process is slow, intentional, and rooted in craft. We value the imperfections, the marks of time, and the beauty found in repurposing. The heron, our namesake, reflects this spirit — poised, patient, and graceful.

Our Values

Reclamation

We give discarded copper a second life — not melted or mass-produced, but reworked by hand into something meaningful.

Craft

Every step of the process — from pipe to pendant — is done manually with care, patience, and respect for the material’s story.

Authenticity

Nothing here is polished for perfection — we embrace the natural, the worn, and the beautifully imperfect in every piece we create.
